Sorry there hasn't been any news for a couple weeks, but I spent several days in the hospital quarantined in my room for seven days so I don't know much about what was happening.
This seems like a good time to say thank you to all who helped Joyce here at home and getting her down to see me.
A special thank you to Julia Beach for feeding the birds as well as checking in on Joyce daily. Also to Vernon and Chris Sager for running errands for Joyce and helping her out also Wayne and Claire, and Kate Pratt and Scott for all they did. Also Pastor and Nancy Lattimer and the church family for prayers, etc. and checking on me daily.
Pastor Rich Noggle and our good friend Dale Harper for taking care of the ministry here at Hillcrest.
To the Troy Community Hospital Emergency Room and Western Alliance crew who transported me to Memorial Hospital. To Dr. Mary Cotton and all the doctors and nurses that took care of me and sometimes joked with me about looking like a bomb squad with all their masks and gloves and gowns they had to wear when in the room taking care of me. Thanks to all for everything and I want you all to know I am feeling much better now. It is real good to be back where I can watch the birds and squirrels and of course the deer.
Monday night was a well attended tenant meeting and on Friday was very large crowd at the fire meeting.
Tonight will be the Faith Baptist Church for the Sunday night service with Pastor Lattimer and the church family.
I just remembered the Alba Church checked on me as well and if I missed any others, thank you also.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Winnie Wood celebrating her birthday this week, February 10th. Also to Richie Stewart who celebrated his February 2nd, although he is no longer here. We all miss him and wish him well.
