Two Weeks Ago
I hope this year is better for me. I was sick for a while, then I took a fall.
Laura, Edie, Terri and Sue and Bob were all here for Paige and Sonya.
Let's remember Hazel Benson in our prayers. She is in the hospital and of course her son Roger is home alone.
Vi Slater is also under the weather.
Friday, Jay and Marion, Edie and MeMe and I went to Aleshias' school program.
The Franklindale Christian Church had Christmas Eve program.
Sue Thomas called on me, Tuesday afternoon.
We are still looking for snow, but not too much.
Last Week
Sue, Lyndon and Josh went to Elmira airport to bring L.J. home for Christmas. He is in the Navy.
Boy we sure are having cold weather this time and I stay in were it is warm.
On Tuesday Bob and I went off to the Robert Packer Hospital, so Evelyn could have a check up.
Vi and Ron were up a couple of times.
My condolence goes out to the Donna Wilber family and Rev. and Mrs. Garry Zuber family and Dale Thomas family.
Priscilla Knapp called on me, Monday morning.
Well, hope you had a Merry Christmas and thank you for the many cards and everything else.
This Week's News
Here's hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas and surely have a Happy New Year.
Here's hoping Laura Barrett and David Fleming Sr. both had a happy birthday on January 1. A belated happy birthday to Ralph Wilston on Dec. 29th.
Paige, Vi and Ron went to Jessica Meeker's for Christmas Eve and had a small party. All the kids draw names at Thanksgiving and exchange them on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day Paige, Vi and Ron went over to Jessica's for dinner with Elwin Fleming, David and Bubba, Pat Overrein, Terrie, and Sernity Fulford and yes Jess and her family were there.
David Sr. fixed a wonderful ham and mashed potatoes and gravy dinner; Pat fixed the fruit salad, and nut bread and scalloped corn. All very good.
Glad to see Phyllis Johnston and Roxie are home from vacation.
Our sympathy goes out to the family of Ann Murray.
If you see little Shelby Kay Fleming from Granville on January 9th wish her a happy 13 birthday. She is Shawn Fleming's little girl.
David and Bubba Fleming stopped into Vi Slater's to have a Christmas party. Dave had supper there. But not Bubba. Said he just ate pizza.
Pat O. and Paige were there also.
