Art was born on March 21, 1934 in Mainesburg, PA. His parents were the late Harry and Mary (McKay) Wilston. Art and his wife Eunice (Forrest) Wilston owned a construction business for many of the 60 years they were married. Eunice cared for Art compassionately and lovingly in the final months of his life.
Art was a 1953 graduate of Troy High School, was involved over the years as a Troy Borough Council member, Sylvania Lion’s Club member, and was a member and belonged to the Board of Trustees of the Austinville Union Church. He enjoyed fly fishing and hunting, wood working, metal detecting, thinking of a new invention (Art held 3 patents at the US Patent Office), and spending time with his family. Art was awarded The Pennsylvania Game Commission Certificate of Participation that recognized him for his years of hunting and fishing and his contribution to these sports, by introducing young people to the great outdoors. His greatest legacy was to love his Lord, his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
