She attended St. James School and Waverly High School in her youth. Patty was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish Saint James Church in Waverly.
Patty had a good life despite the challenges she faced. As soon as you got to know her you were no longer a “stranger” but a friend for life. She loved the “Beatles” and all the music from the sixties and the seventies. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV programs, reading her magazines and coming home to Waverly for all Holidays. She was also very proud that she shared her March 25th birthday with Elton John and Aretha Franklin. She is sorely missed.
The family expresses its deep gratitude to the staff of Martha Lloyd for their care of Patty for 42 years and especially the final weeks of her illness. We also thank Guthrie Hospice who helped Patty and us through this difficult period.
