An Awards Banquet was held for the First Citizens Community Bank Bowling League and the Chemung Canal Trust Co. Bowling League on May 16th at the Canton Fire Department Social Hall. Canton Lanes co-owner Chad Saltsman welcomed everyone with some opening remarks and comments about Canton Lanes. A delicious roast beef and pork dinner was served by the Canton Fire Department.
The awards were presented to the First Citizens Community Bank Bowling League by League Secretary Walt Morgan. The individual awards were presented to: Brian Wesneski and Kyle White (tie) for High Game Scratch (300), Tink Wesneski for High Series Scratch (834), Brian Wesneski for High Game Handicap (317), and Tink Wesneski for High Series Handicap (873). The Top Five Average Awards were presented to: Kyle White (211.32), Tim Scott (209.49), Tink Wesneski (208.93), Buck Richards (204.81) and Glenn Swartzentruber (202.99). The Most Improved Bowler Award was presented to Chris Watkins for an improvement of +26.1 pins. The Team awards were presented to: Windy City Loggers

Roger Wilcox presented The Bowler of the Year Awards. Roger is a Brother-in-Law to the late Jerry Scott. Walt Morgan received the Chemung Canal Trust Co. Bowling League Bowler of the Year award. Brian Wesneski received the First Citizens Community Bank Bowling League Bowler of the Year award.
The Jerry Scott Memorial Bowler of the Year Award was presented to Walt Morgan.
Two door prizes were given. The winners were Dustin Castle and Mutt Brown.
A brief Canton USBC meeting was conducted to conclude the evening.
