Greetings from beautiful downtown Zanderville! SPRING is officially here as I saw a flock of robins, heard geese flying over, saw my first woodchuck and also I have bluebirds at my house!
There were five 700 series (Mert Brown bowled two of them), two 600 series bowled for the women, and two 600 series and four 500 series bowled for the youth this past week.
There were five 700 series (Mert Brown bowled two of them), two 600 series bowled for the women, and two 600 series and four 500 series bowled for the youth this past week.
Our youth bowlers traveled to ABC Bowl this past weekend to bowl in the District 5 Pepsi Cola Tournament.
CONGRATULATIONS to Anneliese Getola, Mason Bellows, Nate Duet and Carrie Brown who are moving onto states which is being held in Hanover, PA on the weekend of May 9 & 10. As a coach I am very proud of all the youth bowlers who bowled in this tournament. The good sportsmanship that our bowlers showed was awesome. Thanks to all the parents that traveled down and cheered for their own kids and for others.
There is still qualifying for the Annual No Tap Doubles Tournament this weekend. Good luck to all those who bowl in this tournament.
The top games of the week are:

ATTENTION: I am in the process of redoing the picture board at Terrace Lanes. During the next two weeks, I will be at the lanes to take current pictures of all Men bowlers who have bowled a 700 or 800 series, and for women who have bowled a 600 or 700 series. There will be a sign-up at the counter for bowlers. Please sign the sheet with your name and the league you bowl in (example.. Joe Smith, Wednesday early). I appreciate your co operation in this matter.
Well, that is all for the week, if the good LORD is willing and the creeks don't rise, I will be back next week with more exciting news from Terrace Lanes.
My thoughts of the week are: "Never underestimate the power of a kind word, an unexpected act of generosity, a courageous deed".
