June 12, 2015 is the next date for you to visit Mt. Pisgah State Park and view the stars and planets! Join our two popular amateur astronomers, Cyn and Mark, at the Lakeside Pavilion area with their telescopes, weather permitting (rain date, next evening). The program will begin after dusk when the sky is dark enough for observing. Feel free to arrive early to visit and talk astronomy. Bring your binoculars if you have them! On May 26, the Corey Creek Ladies Golf League played "Gross & Net." (Players counted gross on odd holes and net on even holes.) Betty Holcomb, #10. Golfers are needed for Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center's 21st Annual Golf Benefit Tournament scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th, at Towanda Country Club. It will follow a Captain and Crew format and will begin with a noon shotgun start, and will be held rain or shine. Awards will be given in three flights and door prizes will be given out from local businesses.

Cheryl Hemmingarn of Sayre was the winner at the Thursday Afternoon bridge game last week. Sherry Spencer of Athens finished in second place. Beverly and Jeffrey Dann of Athens Township were the winners at the Friday Night bridge game last week. Jim and Sherry Spencer of Athens were tied with Tom and Irma Henson of Lake Wesauking for second place.
