The week ended with performances by the morning session students and the afternoon session students. The performances were presented to family, friends and community members. Each grade level of students demonstrated what they had done in the focus groups. The Cardinals began the program with telling the audience, “What We do in Arts Camp”. The Canaries presented a scarf dance with the tie-dye scarves they had made in Art, the Bluebirds played a melody with the boomwhackers and then created the chords with the boomwhackers and sang the melody too, the Cardinals demonstrated their bucket drumming rhythmic routine to the song, Animals. The grand finale was all of the students doing an African Dance and song to Waka, Waka.
The Arts Camp is supported by a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts administered by the Bradford County Regional Arts Council and a small registration fee from the participants.
