Reese Jr., Columbia Cross Roads was one of 309 graduates to receive a diploma at the Spring Commencement of The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He received an Associate of Science degree in petroleum technology A total of 440 Mansfield University students have been named to the spring 2015 semester. To be named to the Dean's list, a student must attend full-time and earn at least a 3.5 GPA. A total of 149 Mansfield University students have been named to the spring 2015 President's List.
To be named to the President's List, a student must attend the university full-time and attain a 4.0 QPA for the semester. Keystone College celebrated its 144th commencement during ceremonies at the Pavilion at Montage, Scranton, on Saturday, May 16. Degrees were conferred upon 349 students. Keystone graduates Dr. Lloyd H. Michael ’62 and his wife Barbara Ann Smith Michael ’62 provided the keynote address and Keystone President Dr. David L. Coppola presided over the ceremony. Dr. Coppola and Dr. Karen K. Yarrish, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, conferred the degrees to the graduates. The following local students received a degree and certificate: Certificate: Becky Jo Eick, Columbia Cross Roads. Bachelor of Science: Deborah MacBride Norton, Troy. Mansfield University student Brittney Mink of Columbia Cross Roads was awarded the Hershey Entertainment Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year. The scholarship, administered by the PA State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Foundation, is awarded to a full-time PASSHE student who is a resident of PA majoring in hospitality, marketing, human resources, information technology or criminal justice. The student must also ear and passed 60 college credits and show academic promise by maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better.
