At its February meeting, Troy Borough Council accepted the retirement resignation of Police Chief Jarvis Burlingame and voted to hire Tony Morelli, a former State Police officer, to fill the office of Chief. Troy Cub Scout Troop 30 held its annual Pinewood Derby at Bradley Hall in Columbia Cross Roads on Saturday, February 28.
Twenty-one Cubs entered the race, and a special Siblings race was held afterwards for family members of the Troop. There was a total loss of 6 1/2 pounds for TOPS and one pound for KOPS.
The Troy High School Class of 1995 wants all classmates to be involved in the planning of the 20th class reunion for Summer 2015.

The United Way of Bradford County and Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers hosted a "Fundraising Pitfalls and Legalities" training workshop for nonprofit organizations from around Bradford County and surrounding areas. The well-attended event, held at the Keystone Theater, provided over 60 attendees with valuable information and insights from a diverse panel of specialists.

The vacancy shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term by the Court of Common Pleas of Bradford County.
