Troy TOPS #986 met at May 26 at the Troy Vets Club with fourteen members weighing in, Because of the Memorial Day holiday there was a weigh-in only. Jim B. was the top TOPS and Betty was top KOPS.

On June 1, the Canton Township Supervisors voted to make a donation of $1,500 to Canton Borough for the War Memorial Pool and a donation of $1,000 to the Green Free Library.
The Fellowship Bible Church will be holding Vacation Bible School starting on June 28 through July 2 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for ages four through fourth grade.

It will run from 6:00 to 8:30 each evening, Preschool Children to those who have completed sixth grade are invited. SonSpark Labs is the theme where children will learn God's plan for them. They will be studying some very basic laws of science such as gravity, motion, and cause and effect. Yes, there is a connection between these laws and your spiritual life. As always there will be music, snacks, games, crafts, and of course Bible lessons. Do you have to obey gravity just because it is the law? Can God's love overcome the cause and effect of sin? Sara has been singing since she was three years old and has sung professionally for 28 years. She works as a nurse at the Bradford County Jail in Burlington, Pennsylvania. Sara is well known throughout the Northeast and Southern New York area for her singing, but also for square dance calling. Does it make you feel good or is it just an obligation? At the Towanda Universalist Unitarian Fellowship on Sunday June 7, 2015 at 3 pm Marsha will highlight "Making the Most of Giving". It will be a timely reminder of all of our gifts and the joy given and received in sharing them. The service starts at 3 pm on June 7 at TUUFs' sanctuary 305 2nd St. Towanda, PA Local United Methodist Churches will be hosting events to train their members to insure that sanctuaries remain places of safety and protection for our young participants. This training also provides insights into the reason for the the new emphasis on keeping every community interaction a safe one for all involved. This training is required for all who work with children and youth in a United Methodist setting.
