BCVMPA is happy to announce that completion of stage III of the Bradford County Veterans Memorial Park is close at hand. Hundreds upon hundreds and thousands more individually sponsored granite pavers have been set in the ground. The “footprint” of the park is covered in stone with more excitement to come.
Fourteen beautiful black granite benches have already been installed with four more on the way. They are etched in gold; some show icons while all convey a message. Two of the new benches have yet to be sponsored they will be placed in prime locations. If you or your organization wishes to demonstrate support for our men and women who have served, will serve or are protecting our freedom today, a sponsored granite bench may be the way to go. As part of this year’s fiesta theme, residents learned about Spain, Mexico and Latin America through films, activities, presentations and cuisine. Residents’ families and friends joined the fun as residents learned about the Spanish custom of “the running of the bulls” in Pamplona before donning bull horns and having a run of their own through the halls, bringing smiles and laughter ever where they went. The Green Home is a nonprofit, skilled nursing home providing both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services, including around-the-clock professional nursing, radiology, nutrition, therapy, counseling, dentistry, podiatry, recreation and rehabilitation services. In fact, Paul gave the Thessalonians a warning, warning them “to stay from every brother who is idle and does not live according to his teachings.” Waiting on God is critical for the Christian because we learn to hope only in Him, be loyal and obedient to Him and have faith that He is working in our best interest.
