The existing 32 foot-long bridge over a tributary of Towanda Creek is just south of Route 3003 (Ellenton Mountain Road).
Work includes removing the exiting bituminous deck, constructing a new concrete deck, upgrading approaches and guide rail and performing finishing work.
A detour will be in place during the project using Route 14, Route 414, and Route 154 in Canton Township.
The bridge is scheduled to be opened to traffic in early June.
