The resignation of Laura Brann from the Shade Tree Commission was accepted with regret. Lynette Ambruch was appointed to the vacancy and Lauren Schoonover Preston was appointed as Ex Officio member. A Clean-up at Morse Park will be held May 2.

Police Chief Doug Seeley reported that March was a quiet month.
Canton Borough has used the leaf vacuum belonging to Troy Borough, so will reciprocate by letting Troy use Canton's street sweeper.

Council approved exonerating Tax Collector Gary Gleckner from collecting $2,992.50 in 2015 occupation taxes.
Council held an executive session for legal matters. The session lasted about half an hour and afterwards Council voted to rewrite and re-advertise the Code Enforcement Ordinance.
