Nine individual season passes, thirty-eight family season passes and one group/day care season pass have been sold
A donation of $600 was received from the VIA from the Mile of Pennies.
The First session of swimming lessons began June 15 and had nine registered
The second session of swimming lessons began July 6 and twelve have registered
Adult swims have been scheduled.
On June 30th began Ms. Rebecca Hamilton began her Tuesday programs with Chief Seeley and Sgt. Kurtz and "Stranger Danger" as the first topic; twelve children attended
The second program was offered by Ms. Hamilton with Nicole Harris from Mt. Pisgah State Park and her program was based on animal tracks and pelts. Approximately ten children attended
A donation of $1,500 was received from Canton Township
The pool may close for the season on August 22.
The Pavilion has been utilized as follows: May 17, Birthday party; May 25, Home Town Heroes; June 4, 6th Grade Picnic; June 12, Stepping Stones Child Care Preschool Graduation; June 20, Class of 2000 Reunion (2 hour private rental of pool); June 22-26, Child Evangelism Fellowship Day Camp/ Bible School; June 29, Tioga/Bradford Housing Authority Canton Family Field Days.
As indicated, on every Tuesday (beginning June 30) Ms. Rebecca Hamilton will present an educational program for children. On August 8, the Canton Ministerial Association will hold its annual Picnic
Several Community Free Swim Saturday’s are scheduled, with sponsors listed:
• July 18, Canton VFW Post 714; July 24, S’Mores Night; July 25, Canton VFW Post 714; August 8, Canton Area Ministerium (they will be planning games/events)
August 15, Canton Area Chamber of Commerce (program to be determined)
