Seventy-one people listened to the meditation provided by Mark Burlingame. He spoke on John 10 and the Good Shepherd. He reminded us that we are never out of God’s sight, even if we can’t see Him. We need to follow and obey without fear.
He used an illustration of his first deer hunt at age 12. Even though he could not see or hear his father, he was never out of his father’s sight. His father led him safely out of the woods.
And so it is with our Heavenly Father, who will lead us into the kingdom of Heaven.
Each Lenten Luncheon is free of charge, with donations accepted for the meal. All donations received benefit the Canton Food Pantry and Heifer International.
