Acoustic Pawnshop will kick off the festival’s entertainment with a performance from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the farmhouse. Folk Justice Band will perform from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., behind the farmhouse.
Visitors are encouraged to experience the historic village in South Meadow to enjoy the hard work that Rekindle the Spirit committee members have put into preserving these historic buildings and machinery.
The historic Hoagland one-room schoolhouse and the Community Hall will be open for attendees to explore and enjoy. The farm’s resident blacksmith, Merle Eiffert will be demonstrating and selling items in the blacksmith shop beside the schoolhouse.
Two baskets of wine accessories will be raffled off by the festival committee to benefit Rekindle the Spirit and the Canton Chamber of Commerce. The baskets include wine glasses, bottle totes, gift certificates and many more surprises. Tickets will be sold for $1 each or six tickets for $5. The drawing will be held at 4:30 p.m. on the stage in the back lawn.
Festival tickets can be purchased at the gate for $15. Admission to the festival includes wine tasting and a tasting glass. All those who wish to participate in wine tasting must bring proper photo identification. Tickets for designated drivers and attendees under the age of 21 will be $5. These tickets do not include alcohol tasting and do not permit the ticket holder to purchase alcohol. No pets or outside alcohol will be permitted on the field.
Volunteers are still needed to help set up on Thursday and Friday evening, to help during the festival and to help clean up Saturday evening. Anyone interested in volunteering should call the Canton Chamber of Commerce at 570-364-2600 or [email protected].
