The successful fair encouraged the club to seek a larger site for their fair and in 1876 the Joralemon lot on Canton Street (at "Armenia Road" - now known as Fallbrook Road) was designated as the fair site which was leased for the fair for the next ten years, but as that period drew to a close, the club sought a larger site and in 1882 the club decided on a leasehold of the John A. Parsons farm, known as "Alparon Park," which has been the fair's site ever since.
