Troy Lions Club Huck Scholarship Fund now has a $1,500 scholarship available to any Troy High School senior that has been accepted into an accredited institution of higher education in the United States. Graduate must be the first from their family going into college. If a student is interested in applying, they should contact the Troy High School, Guidance Department. Deadline to is April 17th.
Towanda Musical Society Scholarship Fund has a $500 scholarship available to any Bradford Co high school senior that has been accepted as a music major in an accredited institution of higher education in the United States. Heads of the music department in each of the County high school can nominate candidates to the CFTT Selection Committee. If a student is interested in applying for this scholarship they should contact their school Music Dept. Deadline to apply is March 28th. Applicants will also have to participate in an audition that’s scheduled for April 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Towanda, 7:00 P.M.
These scholarships are just two of several scholarships available through all the counties CFTT serves. CFTT awarded $37,346 in scholarships and awards last year. Information on the other scholarships can be found by contacting CFTT.
