As the planning moves along, the event grows. "Baked goods will be a part because the date is the Saturday before Thanksgiving," Gustafson noted. Also included will be "crafts of many varieties which means that perfect gift for holiday giving. Handcrafted items are unique and one of a kind making them perfect gifts."
Lunch will be available to eat in or take out. Sloppy Joes with homemade bread will be the feature as well as baked desserts. Please bring your own container for any take-out orders.
On display and for purchase will be a number of fabric hand crafts including quilted items and quilts plus a variety of crafts. Many items will feature a holiday theme and many will be perfect gifts for giving.
A new feature this year will be a children's clothing table. "We are putting the details on this together," explained Pastor Dianne Bentley. "Several of the young parents in the congregation are coordinating this event knowing that children need clothes and these will be items which could be included under the tree for your child or grandchild. The idea is to recycle gently used items into Christmas smiles."
The Fall Bazaar will be held Saturday, November 21, from 9 am til 3 pm at the East Canton United Methodist Church which is located 4 miles east of Canton on a curve in Route 414.
