Learn how to preserve your garden fresh goodies at the Bradford County Library this Thursday (August 6) at 6 pm. Cathy Guffey, a Family & Consumer Sciences Educator from the Penn State Extension Office, will talk participants through the steps of canning and properly freezing food. Print and online resources will be provided for reference. Seasoned preservers are also welcomed to attend with questions and share experiences. Bring along your pressure dial gauge for testing to make sure your canning is accurate. Escape the grocery store and save money with food preservation!
The Bradford County Library is located on US Route 6, a quarter mile west of Burlington. This program is free and open to the public.
