There were seven vendors at the Canton Farmers' Market, July 11.
The ladies from Country Delights were selling bread, pies and baked goods; the Beidler family had produce, candles and rugs; The Faith Baptist Church Youth Group was selling baked goods to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research; Arla Moyer was selling her crocheted items; John Carpenter had his Piatt Road Honey; Josiah Gleckner was selling decorated rocks; and the Sechrists were on hand with the first sweet corn of the season.
The Farmers' Market will be open again July 18 from 8 am to noon in Canton's Main St. Park. After two wet sessions, let's hope for some dry weather!
People with baked goods, garden or farm produce, craft items or similar wares are invited to set up. There is no booth fee. Call 570-673-5151 for information.
No yard sale items, please.
The Farmers' Market is sponsored by the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce.
