After the invocation offered by Kathy Lepper, the members enjoyed the meal before President Marie O'Hara opened the business meeting.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the recitation of the Association's Collect started the meeting.
The minutes of the last meeting and the treasurer's reports were given and approved.
The Association already supports the library and a motion was made and carried to make a donation to the Wine and Cheese Festival.
Jeannette May reported on the status of the Mile of Pennies to be held on June 5th and said there are enough people to cover the four stations. Her daughter Barb Matthews will help her set up and fill in as needed.
President O'Hara is researching the next project the VIA is attempting and will report at the July meeting.
Jackie Spencer and Joyce Castle were appointed by the president to audit the books for the VIA in the next week or so.
There will be a meeting at President O'Hara's home later this month to plan the program book.
Since the club is extending its meeting year into July and August and cancelling January and February, members will have to improvise for a couple of months.
President Marie O'Hara adjourned the meeting.
The next meeting will be at McCallum Manor at 1 p.m. on July 2. The public is invited.
