Julianne has a BS in Urban Forestry and Botany from the University of Wisconsin, and an MS in Tree Pathology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She specializes in trees and natural resources impacted by humans and urban infrastructure. She currently serves southeastern Pennsylvania communities by offering technical assistance and education about trees. She has recently addressed the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Lancaster County Conservancy, and the Mt. Cuba Center.
Endless Mts. Gardening Day will be held, April 18th, at Athens Presbyterian Church, 622 ½ South Main Street, Athens. Registration opens at 8:15 A.M.. The cost for presentations, handouts, light breakfast, and lunch is $35 per person. The event concludes with gardening-related door prizes donated by area businesses in support of Master Gardeners’ efforts to educate, inform, and beautify.
