A request from the Bradford County Veterans Memorial Park Association for funding was discussed and was put on hold until further information can be obtained.
A letter was received from PSATS suggesting that the township should adopt an ordinance to reaffirm its participation in the UC Group Trust. This also was put on hold. The Supervisors looked over the 2015 insurance review and decided to ask Gannon’s how much could be saved on the premium by dropping coverage on the Stone Rake and Spreader.
After adding the $8,000 anticipated increase in Liquid Fuels to cover a leased roller, the 2015 budget was approved with all in favor.
The 2015 meeting dates were set as follows: The organizational and regular meeting will be held at 7 pm on Monday January 5, 2015. The auditors meeting will be held Tuesday January 6 at 7 pm. The rest of the meeting dates are Feb. 3, Mar. 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 8, Oct. 6, Nov. 10, and Dec. 8. All meetings will be at the LeRoy Community Association building at 7 pm.
A discussion was held on obtaining pricing on a new F-750 size plow & cinder truck.
Due to recent heat fluctuations at the township building the oil heating system was serviced for better efficiency. The Supervisors voted to spend up to $1,000 to get a 210,000 btu torpedo heater and insulation for sealing drafts.
Ray House has been added to the list of part-time employees for plowing and cindering.
Under the COG report, Mr. Miosi reported that all members of COG will be using American Drug & Alcohol instead of Midstate for future drug testing.
Under the Road Report, Mr. May said all roads have been plowed and cindered at least two times. He asked about doing some prep work (as weather permits) on Lilley Hill Rd. in advance of the Dirt & Gravel Project.
