The Liberty Blockhouse Committee is planning a Community Day in the Liberty Ball Park on Aug. 8. Free hot dogs with your choice of toppings, games for the young and for the older folks too. Music, fun, and food! What could be better? Watch for posters and more information later this month.

A workday to write Christmas Cards for the military is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, from 9-11 a.m., at Liberty Lutheran Church. Cards and ideas for writing will be provided. This is for Katie Deiter’s “Love the Military” project.
