LeRoy — The 2021 budget was the topic of this month’s LeRoy Township Supervisors meeting on Nov. 2.
During the brief meeting, supervisors went over the budget, which will now be on display for the public. They noted that taxes will not be increased.
Also up for discussion was the 35 mile-per-hour street signs for Mill Street. They are ordered and put up.
Supervisor Jason said he thought some “slow down” signs would also be appropriate for the street as well, because of high traffic volume and the speeds some vehicles travel are a danger.
They voted to purchase yellow signs of “Children at Play” for both the intersections of 414 and for Southside Road. This, they hope, will encourage people passing through to slow down to the 35 mile-per-hour now-posted speed.
