Bradford County has 69 AAH groups that have adopted 188 miles. County department forces will remove litter on Route 6, Route 14, Route 187, and Route 220, Monday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 22.
Lycoming Co has 87 AAH groups that have adopted 263 miles. Sullivan County has 15 AAH groups that have adopted 66 miles. County department forces will begin removing litter from Interstate 180, Route 15 and Route 220 starting next week and will continue through the first week of April.
Tioga Co has 65 AAH groups that have adopted 137 miles. Department forces will remove litter throughout next week on Route 6, route 14, Route 15, Route 49, Route 249, Route 328, Route 349, Route 414, and Rt. 660.
PennDOT encourages people to volunteer for the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania, which began March 1 and runs through May 31. Those interested in adopting a section of highway are encouraged to contact their local PennDOT County Maintenance office and ask for the AAH coordinator, or visit www.dot.state.pa.us.
