Rodney Smith and Melissa Smith of Williamsport are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Nicole Smith, to Lee Justin LeTourneau, son of Doug LeTourneau of Nashville, Tennessee and Kelly Jacobs of Floresville, Texas. Lacey is a 2007 graduate of Canton High School. She received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Lycoming College in 2011 and is currently employed as an office manager at Contain Energy Services in Floresville, Texas. LJ is a 2003 graduate of Sulphur High School in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He is employed as a District Manager for Energy Products, Inc. in Elmendorf, Texas. Their families and friends will celebrate their marriage at Bella Springs in Boerne, Texas on April 29, 2016. Lacey is also the granddaughter of Wade and Dorthie Graham and Steve and Connie Smith of Canton. Beech Flats Grange will meet on November 12 at 1 pm at the Midway Restaurant. At 7:00 pm on November 2, 2015, Canton Borough Council held a public hearing for the purpose of vacating a "paper street" between Trippe Street and West Union Street, between the Bailey and Dunbar properties.
Although this area had once been designated as a public street it was never opened as a street. The Borough must formally vacate the street, by Ordinance, in order to remove all possibility of the street ever being opened. |
