The Sovereign Queen, described as ‘heavy on the ruffles,’ has a full rounded face with a lilac eye zone and two-tone cream shades in the throat. This 30 inch day lily blooms in mid-season (July) and then reblooms in full sun to partial shade. The Sovereign Queen is one of many varieties included in the presentation, ‘Queen for a Day(lily)’ which outlines the origin, the history, and the great range of beauty in these lovely blooms.
