The project includes microsurfacing, installation of rumble strips and placement of pavement markings.
Work take place on three sections of Route 6, which include:
• A 1.5-mile section from the Troy Borough line through Troy to the bridge over Sugar Creek near the intersection with Longs Pond Road (T-532);
• A 1.5 mile section from the intersection with Bailey Corners Road (Route 3019) through West Burlington to the intersection with Carman Road (T-885);
• And a 1 mile section from the Wysox Township line to Chucks Road (T-585) in Standing Stone Township.
Traffic will be maintained by daylight flagging operations.
All work is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
Vestal Asphalt, Inc., is the prime contractor on this $258,252.00 project.
