At the Towanda Universalist Unitarian Fellowship this Sunday at 3 pm, Jean Spencer will speak about the poem "When I am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple". The themes found within this poem cry out to the older generations, celebrating the gift of freedom and liberty, manifested by the realization that as one becomes old and wise, one can throw off the old societal values we keep to so automatically through our lives and become self actualized free spirits. Come and join us in the Towanda Universalist Untarian Fellowship Sanctuary for a refreshing and joyful look at growing older. Please enter via the Second Street main door. The service will be held in the sanctuary on street level.
