The theme of this year's program is "Every Hero Has A Story."
The schedule for the Summer Reading Program:
• June 24: Summer Reading Kick-Off with Magician Ran'D Shine.
• July 1: Spreading the Buzz on Bees, presented by the Pennsylvania Honey Princess, Blair Hetherington.
• July 8: Create your own superhero with Wayne Beeman Troy Intermediate School Visual Arts and Digital.
• July 15: Fiona Powell - Master Storyteller. Come on an adventure as Fiona spins a wonderful tale.
• July 22: Native American Heroes presented by the Rockwell Museum. Every child in attendance will receive a free pass to the museum.
• July 29: Local Hero Party! - Join us in the parking lot behind the mini-park as our summer reading program comes to an end with our own local heroes.
BAM!! POW!! READ!!! Superhero Camp For Preschoolers!
The Green Free Library also will be holding special sessions for Preschoolers on Fridays from 10 am to 11 am, beginning on June 5.
