CANTON — The big item up for discussion at the August meeting of the Canton Township was the status of Pratt’s Mill Road.
Commissioner Gary Ferguson read off a list of bids received for the application of asphalt or seal coating on Pratt’s Mill Road. The Township ultimately decided to accept the bid from Midland Asphalt of $24,243 to apply seal coat to the road.
The township board also decided to transfer the Impact Fund Capital Reserve fund of $104,110.40 to a 27 month EZ Access CD which would provide comparable interest rates to the current CD and allow for additions and withdrawals more easily than the current setup.
