Would you believe it if you were told that these types of miracles happen all the time? Would you need proof? Here are a couple of examples that I was personally involved with. A local waitress was very concerned about an upcoming biopsy of a tumor that she had been diagnosed with. A group of believers along with myself, (who know her) called her over and asked if we could pray for her. She agreed, and we did. Two days later at her appointment, they told her that the tumor had disappeared. “Go home, nothing to biopsy.”
There is a teen in a local youth group who was scheduled for knee surgery. He was injured playing football and had been on crutches. Myself and another youth leader prayed over him and his knee with the support of the rest of the youth group. At his surgery appointment that week, they told him to LEAVE HIS CRUTCHES and go home.
Delia Knox is a gospel singer who was paralyzed as a result of an auto accident in 1987. For 22 years she was in a wheelchair. 22 years. In August of 2010, during a service in Mobile Al., she was healed while people were praying for her and is walking and dancing today. You can see it on Youtube. I met her last summer.
Jesus said in Mark chapter 16, verse 18 (see for yourself!), that those who believe will, ”lay their hands on the sick and they will be healed.” Do you believe? Something to think about…..
Have you ever been guilty of looking at someone your own age and thought, “There’s no way I can look that old!”? Well, you’ll like this one. My name is Alice and I was sitting in the waiting room for my appointment with a new dentist. I noticed his DDS diploma on the wall with his full name written on it. He had the same name of someone I went to school with some 40 years ago. The name brought back a tall, dark haired, handsome boy. Could this be the same boy I had that secret crush on? The wait began getting more exciting, but upon seeing the balding, gray haired man with the deeply lined face, it was apparent that he was too old to have been my classmate. After he examined my teeth, I asked him if he attended Morgan Park High School. With a sense of pride, he said “yes, I am a Mustang!” “When did you graduate”, I asked. He said, “1975.” “You were in my class!”, I exclaimed. Then after looking at me closely, that old balding, gray haired so and so said, “What did you teach?”
