Twenty-one Cubs entered the race, and a special Siblings race was held afterwards for family members of the Troop. See Pictures in Gallery of Boy & Cub Scouts Hold Pinewood Derby
There was one "impossible" circumstance: a car hopped its lane and landed upright completely in the adjacent lane, finishing the race in the wrong lane, just ahead of the proper car.
The races were judged and timed electronically, and the winners of each heat were displayed shortly after the finish of each race.
Each boy in the Troop was presented a wooden trophy made by Greg and Veronica Seymour. The trophies were designed to hold and display the car. The winners' trophies had the placing of the car.
Some special awards were presented as well.
Families could enjoy lunch at the event, with money raised going to support the Troop.
The top three finishers are: 1. Evan Slater; 2, Lane Stroud; 3. Brayden Route. They will advance to the County competition in Towanda. If one of those boys is unable to compete, Garrett Seymour will advance as alternate.
