Residents are encouraged to slowly drive by C&N bank (in either direction) with your emergency flashers on. (No Horns Please!).
Please do not stop on Elmira Street and block traffic.
At 9:55 a.m the Troy Veterans Honor Guard will form up on the sidewalk in front of C&N Bank along with a flag draped casket display from the Troy Historical Society, a contingent of Legion Riders and buglers from the Troy High School Band.
At 10, the firing party will fire three volleys followed by the playing of Taps and will be repeated. At the end of the third sequence, the Legion Riders will emerge from their parking area at the south side of C&N bank and pass by the casket. They will then depart toward Canton to begin their tour of local communities in honor of our departed veterans.
Please help us make this a suitable memorial to our departed veterans, those who gave their lives in defense of our freedom and those who served, lived productive lives continuing to serve their communities and have since passed on.
