Carty and Eleanor settled on Bennett Hill, west of Grover, PA in Union Twp. on a farm next to Carty's parent's farm.
Eleanor was from Newelltown, PA and after graduating from Canton High School, she attended Mansfield Normal School and taught one year at Oregon Hill, Tioga County before their marriage.
They began dairy farming and as time went by Carty bought a milk route in Windfall area. He also loved carpentry and did remodeling at home and hired out building barns, garages, and updating peoples homes.
Carty and Eleanor had two children Larry (Jan) Wooster and Dianne (Erwin) Spencer.
After the children were teens, Eleanor went back to Mansfield State Teacher's College and received her degree. She taught at Roaring Branch, and the new elementary school in Canton until retiring in 1983.
Carty and Eleanor have remained active, they keep a garden, cut wood, and are active in Newelltown Church.
Eleanor has attended Newelltown Church all her life and is the longest attending member in the church's history.
The Woosters had five grandchildren: Angela, Clint, Kim, Vicki and Mike, and two great-granchildren, Ashley and Thomas.
The Woosters love family gatherings and visiting with their many friends.
They have been an example for all.
Cards may be sent to the Woosters at 205 Wooster Road, Roaring Branch, PA 17765
