By Jessie Jo Zander Greetings from a COLD Zanderville. My, oh my! What a difference a few days can make. Last week it was high in the 60 and 70's; and this past weekend it was low in the 20's and we had some snow! I see it will be warming up again this week.
There was eleven 700 series (Bryan Gleason bowled two of them) bowled for the men, no 600 series bowled for the women and four 500 series bowled for the youth this past week. The fast paced, rough and tumble sport of roller derby will return to the Kelchner Fitness Center at Mansfield University on Saturday, October 24.
These are the top scores at Canton Lanes for the week beginning October 4, 2015:

Oh the leaves are at their peak! God sure shows us nature in all its splendor! For the week, the men bowled six 700 series, the women bowled one 600 series and the youth bowled one 500 series. Congratulations to Amy Brown for bowling her first 600 series of the season. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Rick Stahle (it is about time he decided to show up and bowl!) for bowling a 700 series. This is his first 700 series in about two years. Rick also bowled 11 strikes in a row. AWESOME bowling Rick. I just hope it is enough to beat the kids this week! The top games of the week are: Youth: Tyler Hofmann 226, Connor Brown 180, Connor Lyon 160, Emily Hofmann & Nathan Thompson 159, Carrie Brown 158 |
