Creating a sculpture with purpose and meaning can be a positive way to influence people and to change the thought patterns of society. John designed and built a sculpture that does just that but it also inspires conversation among family. His sculpture is titled, The Table. John also wrote a powerful artist statement to compound the dynamics of his sculpture. "This table represents the central tool for family. It is a place where family eat with their kids so they will not eat in the living room in front of a TV. It is a place where they can talk and laugh. This sculpture sets the actions where kids will grow up and will eat with their kids so they will know them."
