Arnot Health Medical Services had student works hung, labeled and custom framed in high quality glass. Thank you to Gabrielle L. Erway and her team for showcasing our students' works. Starting from top to bottom student works include, Sailor George, Jade Brown, Miguel Ruiz, Courtnie Hoffman, Haley Lewis, Michael Hopper, Macy Vroman, Kyra Magee, Anneliese Getola, and Jacob Wales. ![]() Lyle Wesneski, a member of the Troy High School staff was chosen Teacher of the Year by the Student Council. Mr. Wesneski is an eighth grade history teacher. He lives in Canton and is a Canton High School graduate. He is head wrestling coach at Canton and assistant baseball coach, also in Canton. He has been teaching for 25 years and hopes that each year he inspires his students to work hard and to enjoy history, which they are making everyday. ![]() This year the State Envirothon Competition was held on May 19th and 20th, 2015 at the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus and the Windber Recreation Park. Each winning team from the County Envirothon competitions were in attendance from a total of 63 counties. Of those 63 counties, representing Bradford County was Troy High School. This year they won the Bradford County Envirothon with a score of 411 points out of 500. ![]() ![]() At the Troy High School Academic Awards program, Mitchell Robson won the Bausch & Lomb Science Award which is given to a junior who has attained the highest scholastic standing in science subjects. ![]() At the Troy High School Awards Assembly, Sam Robbins, sonof James and Nancy Robbins, received the United States Coast Guard Academy Scholarship. This is ranked among the nation's most prestigious and selective institutions of higher learning. Each year approximately 10,000 students inquire about admission and only 20 get the appointment and he will be sworn in this summer to the class of 2019. Congratulations to Sam, and Thank you to all who are willing to serve and save our freedom. Pictured with Sam is Mr. Matt Geer, who graduated from the Coast Guard Academy. The prom was well attended and the food and decorations were wonderful.
