On August 19th, the 1948 graduating class of Troy High School held its 67th Alumni Reunion at the Troy Vets Club.
There were 23 in attendance. There were 77 in the graduating class. One class member came all the way from Arkansas. Another came from Harrisburg. The alumni were served a delicious luncheon and shared old memories and made new ones. (If they can remember them.) They also sang a few songs together. One rather unique detail was, after 67 years, the Valedictorian and Salutatorian were both in attendance. That does not happen everyday. It was decided to hold the 68th reunion, 2016, on the same day, the third Wednesday in August. They are all proud to have graduated from Troy High School. Long may it endure. ![]() Larry Hill and Gayle Newman of Chattanooga, Tennessee announce the engagement of their daughter Emily Ann Hill to Jordan Richard Brunelle, son of Stephen and Judith Brunelle of Spring Hill, Tennessee.
